The
registration for the Coded by Kids annual city-wide coding competition,
Ctrl+Shift, is now open! Ctrl+Shift is open to students from
ages 13-18. This competition allows students to take their website development skills to the next level AND learn concepts from tech professionals. Students can register as individuals or as a part of a team (up to 3 people).
Websites must address an issue in one of the following categories: Arts, Education, Entrepreneurship, or Social Impact and be coded "by hand" - no templates or online site builders.
Students will learn skills to help them create the best website possible including design thinking and UX/UI.
The winners are determined during a live judging event on May 8, 2021
First Place: $5,000
Second Place: $2,000
Third Place: $1,000
