What is the Mars STEAM Challenge?
A Virtual Video Project using Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) for Students in Grades 3-8 to create innovative, real-world solutions to the “Your Mission” Challenge of living on the planet Mars.
The GenCyber Teacher Camps, offered by Lehigh Carbon Community College, are week-long summer camps for grade-school teachers of K-6 (July 12-16) and 7-12 (June 21-25). The 2021 sessions will be held virtually.
The goal of the GenCyber program is to increase interest in cybersecurity careers and diversity in the cybersecurity workforce, help students understand correct and safe online behavior, and improve teaching methods for delivering cybersecurity content in K-12 curricula.

About Us

Computer Science is a young and rapidly changing field, challenging its practitioners and educators to remain current and be quick to adapt in order to achieve their full potential. Our group offers a forum for the exchange of curriculum ideas, sparking collaboration among and between educators in secondary schools and universities in the greater Philadelphia area, so as to help fuel continued improvement in the teaching of Computer Science. We promote Computer Science education and support K-16 educators by raising public awareness of Computer Science and its many subfields, and the value of a Computer Science education to the next generation of students.
Our membership lives or teaches in Bucks, Montgomery and Delaware counties as well as Philadelphia, PA.
